Credit Union Membership

Your credit union is a not-for-profit cooperative. We return "profits" to our members in the form of higher dividends paid on savings, lower interest rates charged for loans, and expanded services.

Who We Serve

Diversified Credit Union serves the Central Communities of Minneapolis, Waseca County in Minnesota, and several businesses including CenterPoint Energy employees and their families. 

If you are related to a current Member by blood, adoption or marriage, you are eligible to join Diversified, regardless of where you live. 

If you are employed by one of our select employee groups (SEGs), you may join regardless where you live. We serve the employees and family members of:

• E.F. Johnson Company and Transcrypt International, Inc. (divisions of EFJ, Inc.)
• Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions
• Dataradio COR Ltd.
• Itron 
• Dunwoody College of Technology

"Once a Member, Always a Member"
As long as you maintain an account and remain an active member you are welcome to belong to Diversified Credit Union for life, even if you change jobs, move or retire. 

Membership is open to your entire family -- including your spouse, children, parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews and adoptive relatives. Also, retirees who did not join the credit union before retirement may still join. 

DCU's 5-5-5 Program!

When you join Diversified Credit Union, it's normally just a $10 deposit into your savings account that starts you off.  With our new 5-5-5 Program, you put in just $5, we'll match it with another $5, giving you the minimum opening deposit AND we'll donate $5 to Sharing and Caring Hands in Minneapolis. If you join at our Waseca Branch, we will donate $5 to the Neighborhood Service Center.
